Hey,

I'm new to the forum, however I've found it really useful reading all the advice on here when finalising the options for my CT 4S build.

My last and final decision is whether to go with Titan Grey or Satin Black wheels on my Neptune Blue CT . . . I know colour choice is personal, but I'm interested to see what peoples preference is?

Thanks,
Gary

Here is a curveball for you. If you like the black wheels, consider changing the exterior color to Chalk. I saw a CT at my dealer a couple weeks ago with that combo (maybe the wheels were even high gloss black, can't remember for sure) and the car was absolutely stunning. I hate to say it because I am a black car kind of guy, but I think it was the most attractive/aggressive Taycan that I have seen to date. But if you stay on planet Neptune, I'd recommend the standard grey.

Agree, Chalk with Satin Black wheels is an amazing combination. I had a CT4 with that combo and I loved it.

It's just the standard colour for the 21 inch cross turismo wheels . . .
I got mine and the inserts painted Vesuvius but that option seems to have been dropped for the wheels.

In the absence of that option I’d leave them standard, personally.

For me having the inserts painted was important because I didn’t like the standard silver and wasn’t keen on black being gloss and the grey wheels look best to me with the Vesuvius inserts.

Thanks! I was initially getting the taycan all in black, and then decided to go for a different colour as thought it would be a bit more "fun". I do like the chalk, but the Mrs isn't keen . . . plus our 2nd car is grey . . . hence why I settled on the Neptune. I really like the colour!

Do you think the current standard colour (in the pictures above) is silver or have they potentally dropped Vesuvias grey because they've just made this the standard colour? To me, the standard colour (Titan grey) looks pretty similar to Vesuvias grey, or is Vesuvias darker?

Vesuvius is a tad darker but the big difference is the standard wheel has bright machined highlights - which is the main reason I went with painted.
I prefer the standard colour over black, personally.
