Gentian blue vs. Volcano Grey Metallic

Thanks everyone!! I looked at a few more pictures and stuff yesterday, and whilst my dad wanted the grey, I've convinced him to go with blue. Thanks for all the opinions, thoughts and replies as always. What a lovely community this is x

Trust me. I AGONIZED over the decision. But the cool thing about this color really is how it morphs from black to shades of black and then looks jet black at night while retaining the lines. Really he will love it.

I've got Gentian and love it. I've always thought Volcano looks a bit dull.

Agree 100 %. Everyone loves the Gentian Blue. It stands out well.

Is that with a SportDesign pack in Gloss Black? Really suits on a Gentian Blue car. And those wheels match perfectly too. Just wanted to confirm you appear to have spec'd that perfectly!
Gentian Blue looks *so* nice when it's clean and shiny.

Interior I went with black/beige/ neodyme accent, absolutely in love with it!

I had the same dilemma, ultimately I did go with Volcano grey as I plan on doing a full stealth wrap, which looks much better on the grey then the blue. Honestly dont think you can go wrong

Saw one that color on the road yesterday absolutely stunning this is my favorite color favorite for the Taycan with White being #2

The Volcano gray looks nice with a lot of light. It looks black when it is dark. If it is mostly overcast think blue is better. I own a Volano color type.

I had Gentian Blue on my 2020 Taycan and went Volcano Grey on my 2025 which I picked up about a month ago. Overall I like Gentian Blue better. It is so cool the way it looks different in different lights. However, I opted for Volcano this time because I was looking for something that wouldn't stand out quite so much. The blue absolutely draws a lot more attention.
