That's irrelevant in this discussion.
We're talking about the more likely cause of death: battery exploding (by Cris) or the door that wouldn't open (by me).
As we now can read the car was in an accident and that was the reason they couldn't get the door to open.
No, there’s two cases of Taycan battery fire in Jinagsu. One of them involved a massive accident against a tree at over 200kph. In this one the doors wouldn’t open but the driver probably already was dead from the impact alone.

Then there is a battery fire which occurred during charging also in Jiangsu China but nothing was wrong with the door.

I mixed up the door story from these two accidents.

Could this incident lead to an official investigation or regulatory response? Should we expect a broader inquiry or further recalls?

Unlikely.

In Spain there was a bigger incident, with casualties, from a low speed impact in a parking. And nobody seems concerned.

Until one catches fire spontaneously, in a public space, say a mall underground parking, where the damages would be big and not covered by insurance - resulting in a lawsuit and forceful involvement of regulatory bodies, nothing will be done.

There is a class action lawsuit in USA, but that will take many many years to reach any conclusion

That was a hybrid Panamera (like my baby 970). The driver who is disabled and had modified the car to use the brake and accelerator with his hands somehow confused the brake for throttle and while parking reversed it at high speed into a wall by pressing the throttle.

which of course no doubt completely destroyed the high voltage battery which is located in the trunk and caused a massive battery fire that killed multiple firefighters

media missreported it as a Taycan!

You’re thinking of a different one perhaps. All the articles I can find mention a taycan, and the videos show a taycan

Trust me, I'm Spanish, even if I am self exiled from that socialist hellhole it has recently become.\

The stupid media initially misreported it as a Taycan. But it was not a Taycan

Later they corrected themselves

You can see the charge port on rear left side of the car (which only Panamera has) and not Taycan
