Ghost 2 compatibility Taycan 4S

Hi All,

I’m a new member on here, so bear with me :0)

I’m due to take delivery of my 4S in the coming weeks, but I was wondering if you can (like I have in my T6 VW & Jag) or whether you can get a Ghost 2 fitted

it’s more about doing what I can, than being at direct risk.

Given people have had issues with the 12V system I would be wary of adding something like this. How does it actually immobilise the car?

Taycan is not on the compatibility list and in fact I don't see any electric cars on there.

Ha Ha Ha.

It’s a CAN based immobiliser, that is set and unset via a sequence of UI.

Electric cars are very different than Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) vehicles - it’s probably best to assume it’s not compatible at this time.

We already have a vehicle immobilizer... Its called the 12V Battery!

I believe the Ghost 2 is compatible with the Taycan. I had a chat with the installer who put one in on my last car and he said that he had installed them on Taycans.
