Hey folks,

I need winter tires for my 2020 Taycan Turbo on 20" wheels.

These two are about the same price.

Anyone have any experiences with either? I'd say I priortize winter grip over performance if that helps.

Hi,

I would consider my choice based on the type of surface you are most likely to spend the winter on. If you are 90 % of the time on wet or salted surfaces, that could lead to a different choice than if you are e.g. 40 % of the time on proper snow.

Here is a tyre test where both the Goodyear (although in a later interation) and the Blizzak are beeing put through the paces:

Good luck with your choice.

Blizzak is not Porsche tested/approved. Both are central European tires. I like PZero winter. If you want a real winter tire, try Nokian Hakka 5 EV-more expensive, though, not as good in dry or wet.
