Nice build. The GTS is great for the extra power but I went with the 4S and saved a few dollars. I wasn’t big on the tech package. I felt the package included things that I really wouldn’t use. I’m really practical. I also initially selected the variable light control but stuck with the normal panoramic roof. I felt the light control is super cool, but I would play with it for a couple months and not use it often enough for an extra $3k. Just my thoughts. Congrats on the allocation.

Thanks, I have been trying my best to be practical as well although I am a sucker for gadgety tech. I could not pass on the variable light control roof or I would have regretted it even if I stop using it after a few months.

For me the Sport Turismo body style was the clincher for the GTS, otherwise I had a Cross Turismo build ready to go if I got an allocation for those instead. As for the Tech package, I initially did not spec it, but after driving a friends car with a HUD, loving it, and the fact I was going to get the ACC regardless, the price differential was minimal to get the Tech package as suppose to picking the items a la carte.

Certainly an element of justifying my build choices, but this car is a YOLO car for me, and was trying not to have any regrets.

Very different from my build. The GTS was the only spec for me so went with al the GTS complimentary options so full RaceTex, RS Spyder wheels etc. I decided to add no cosmetic frills which would keep it more GTS ish, no carbon or extra trim so this also saves me money. But I'm having a full PPF.

I have also decided I don't like the rear smoke windows. Too dark for me and spoils the lines making the car look bulky. So I will add a tint film to all the side windows and rear. Probably 55%.

But I agree on colour lol

I appreciate the commitment to the GTS inspired specs. After all, it is what makes the GTS special.

I found that with the options I was going to put on a 4S cross turismo, I was including all the things that are standard features on a GTS and decided to go with a melded build that achieved my desired specs with less of an added option cost while also getting a Sport Turismo (not available in the US except on a GTS) which I prefer to the Cross Turismo.

Great taste in colors!

Me too. I started with a 4S spec but it was nearly the price of my GTS. But I do love the exclusivity of the RaceTex and RS Spyder wheels.

Have you seen a Neptune in the flesh? This was the first Taycan I saw in a showroom. Looks stunning and so much better than the configurator.

I have not seen Neptune Blue in the flesh, glad to hear it will meet and hopefully exceed my expectations. I honestly have never had a brighter color car in the past and was taking a leap of faith.

Thanks all, still 36 more days to freeze date and here is the modified and final? build.

Any other thoughts welcomed.

I realize the wheels are a little contentious of a choice, but 5 spokes speak to me. ;)

Beautifully specc'd! Glad to have another GTS out there. Maybe I missed it in the thread, but any reason you didn't want the power charge doors? I think it's a super convenient and "wow factor" option that has real life benefits.

Thanks!, and I definitely have those specified in my configuration, I love them as well. It is listed all the way on the bottom of the spec sheet above.
