I hear a lot of deliveries today come with only one key, so it could be a lot more than $800 to tow your car and rent another one while you wait for a replacement key. I assume "you only got one key for now" doesn't come with "if you lose it or it stops working, we'll have a replacement in your hand within an hour" type of guarantee.
