Hi, we have a 2022 Taycan and we’ve been charging at home through our own Sync charger, however we are moving to a house where will have up rely on these Blinc public charger. Does anyone know which charger I need as I couldn’t see the correct connection in the chargers provided by Porsche.

Have you looked them up using an app like PlugShare? It should have the connector info you’re looking for.

Ay least in my area, Blink does not maintain their chargers and approx. 90 percent are not working and all are under 11kw. I don't know what is in your area but EV go and electrify America are the most reliable. Charge point can be good and of course Tesla as a last but always around backup. Use plugshare app in the USA if Porsche nav doesn't work well in your area.

Odd question to ask.

All public chargers in UK and EU will use the standard connectors.

If DC then the EVSE will be tethered (cable attached to the EVSE) and will provide the standard CCS connector.

If AC and tethered then the standard AC Type 2 cable will be attached.

If not tethered then use the Type 2 cable you should have got with the car as this is why it is supplied. If you don't have a cable then you'll need to source.

Some EVSEs (chargers) also have CHADemo cable and connector (blue) but these are for specific legacy EVs and not to be used in your case.

Just connect the given EVSE with cable from it (if DC (>= 50kW charger) OR if AC (<= 22kW) use as described above.

No dependency on the app but I'm not clear on what you are trying do specifically.

I don’t see it as an odd question at all.
We have a blinc charger outside our house and the EVSE connection on the blinc unit that isn’t tethered isn’t compatible with either the AC or DC connections we have with our car hence the (not soo odd) q.

A picture would help as would model number as it is impossible to guess at the issue - crystal balls aren't a reality.

Odd - your question related to public charging and the information I've provided will assist with that.

Your car has the industry standard connections the EVSE is the oddity. There may be a specific cable / adapter that might work.

You're welcome.
