In my Porsche Taycan 4s cross turismo, now a few month's old, I ordered the home link. But it is not functioning. Porsche dealer is unable to solve it. It is because the garage door, Hörmann, is too much protected, they say?? Actually if your garage door is too modern, too protected, Porsche's home link is a waste of money.
Anyone else familiar with this problem?

Hormann is listed as officially compatible by Homelink.

The most common error in setting up homelink is that most new garage openers now use a rolling code for security purposes. When you pair your garage opener with the car, a special mode must be activated on the your garage opener. Different brands have different ways of doing this so consult your Hormann manual.

Ps. Homelink is a completely separate company to Porsche. They own the technology for this so Porsche is not the one to blame.
