I was thinking about this and changing my home address in my nav system to a nearby location then realized that my insurance and registration cards with my home address are in my glove compartment - am I missing something?

don't store your cards in the car, ez pz. insurance docs on your phone would be proof of insurance, registration could go in your wallet.

Registration in my state (WA) does not contain owner's address. There are specific instructions when you get it, to "cut along the dotted line" to remove the part which has your address on it.
