How do the front air intakes work?

Hi everybody,

do you know how the front air intakes work?
I found them close only one time when the car was off and in Parking.
Then this never happened again.
My impression is that they are now stuck in the open position. Is it a defect?

They should open/close according to battery and system temperatures.

Porsche use these across other models in the range and not unique to the Taycan.

They operate automatically depending on various factors. Generally open when car is powered on.

Depending on drive mode the vent position will vary eg in Range Drive Mode the vents will close to enhance aerodynamics.

If faulty then I'd expect a warning message would be displayed.
