HUD configuration - changes are not applied?

Anyone experienced problems with HUD settings?
I had Assist on a display, then it’s been changed (not by me) to Speed.
If i change anything on a configuration menu, no changes are displayed at all.

Not sure I fully understand, but

• Assist will only show on the HUD when you turn assist on (pressing the button on the end of the stalk)
  • Nav works the same way - if Nav isn't on, it won't show anything in that space and the features fill the gap
• Speed always shows on the HUD. Can't be turned off IIRC

I know.
Nav was set, and Assist was on as well…
It,worked two months, yesterday simply no longer….and i haven’t touched/changed anything at all

maybe i haven;t made myself clear enough: navigation info are displayed, but instead of powermeter, i wanted to see the similar on HUD, as it was till yesterday:

HUD is tied to the memory function. Once you set it, hit Set+ your memory number in the driver door so it is stored. Otherwise any press on the memory button (1 or 2) will reset it.
