I've seen it now in several conditions.

Didn't like it in wet, rainy, overcast conditions... Had this cold blueish hue, which immediately gave me the feeling, that it's not the one.

However, then saw it at another dealership in the exhibition hall and outside in the shadow and warm afternoon sun, and I was loving it.. Immediately had the feeling that it's the best color.

Haven't seen it in direct sunlight or at night... or in snow (but that's kinda irrelevant to me).

Overall it is an amazing color, but my level of affection depends on the conditions ^^

This GT3 RS video shows well how the shade of Ice Grey Metallic changes depending on the lighting conditions: Outdoors, under natural light, it displays a (very) subtle blue tint, while indoors, under artificial or diffused light, it appears more like a light but pure grey, and it loses the blue tint. I guess it's the same in warm sunlight (dusk) and at night.

I guess, this effect is due to the way the metallic paint reflects light.

Black is always a safe and neutral color. Slate grey compliments Ice Grey nicely too. Generally, Porsche designers arrange color pallets combinations that are aesthetically pleasing. On the configurator they prevent you from putting certain combinations together. Odd combos will be a car built with PTS and/or "Manufacturer" custom interior (which still requires approval).

I love this spot for photos. Car companies will use it in their ads sometimes. The lightning shows how Ice Grey Metallic can look white, pearl or grey.
