??. My loan offer expires around Jan 11 or so. It is good for 30 days from 12/12/21. I need to get this done. I am hopeful that we at least get invoiced this week.

I would call the bank, explain your situation, and ask for a 10 day extension.

I know I'm an adult, but man waiting is excruciating. I feel like I'm 8 and waiting on some toy I want with zero patience. I think better communication between Porsche and the dealer would really help them to manage customer anxiety.

Man that was happening to Teslas when I got mine. Luckily, mine was good.
Also, I’m just thinking about how many items have chips on my build.

I took a trip to try out charging on a EA 350KW charger. I didn’t really need a 350 KW charger because my SOC, state of charge, was 62% which limits the charge rate. In any case charging ran at about 90KW and got me to from 62% to 92% SOC in 20 minutes.

I had to go through three chargers to get one to work. In the end to called EA support. They were very helpful and got things work using the Charge app. It’s an issue with the car. It should have been very easy because Taycans are plug in and charge on the EA network, no apps or anything else involved. The EA agent walked me through using the Charge app.

The tech guru at my dealer has seen this problem before and it should resolve itself. One of the symptoms is that the Porsche Connect app shows my car as still waiting to be shipped. That’s probably locking down some stuff that plug and charge needs.

BTW the Porsche Connect app has, since 1/1 has been replaced the My Porsche app (and you should remove the Connect app). The My Porsche app shows that my car is stuck in Standby Mode and has Completed Production waiting to be shipped. Once Porsche updates their server to show that the car has been shipped and sold things should start working. So if it’s not working by next week I’ll dig into it further.

Fortunately it doesn’t affect the Porsche Route Planner (which is pretty neat) that I want to use on a short road trip this weekend.

I don't have any quality action showing in the status from what I can tell... My SA said the car will be in ATL on Jan 21. No idea why its stuck at the port.

The only good thing here is that Jan 21 is a Friday. That almost for sure means that your SA is getting the same data the My Porsche web page does. So that date means anytime up to Jan 21.

BTW the My Porsche web page shows that my car is built and waiting to be shipped. I've been driving it around since Saturday.

So it could appear at any time.

Haha. I literally laughed out loud. My car is showing 1/14. I have decided to leave my SA alone and just wait. Nothing he or I can do. If it goes past that time, then I will bother him.
