Lasted 9 days (Panoramic roof)

This same issue is holding up delivery of my CT4. Vehicle arrived in Houston at the start of June and was due to dealer by June 17th, however dealer said port noted a full length crack in the glass roof. SA advised me they were told numerous vehicles were coming off the ship like that. Glad they caught it but hope it’s fixed fast.

Oh gutted it’s holding up your delivery. When my crack happened 9 days in my biggest worry would be that it wouldn’t be drivable. So glad it never got worse have been able to enjoy it the last two months. Not sure what happens with yours not having been handed over, hopefully they’ll prioritise. Love to have the cause confirmed, some have heard too long screws (if that’s the case, wow what an expensive mistake for Porsche).

Ok, confirmation my roof is now with the dealer bodyshop. Perfect timing as away on business shortly so hopefully will be able to report back in about 10 days as to roof fix, any more info on cause. Should get the 22kW Harmonic recall done too ??.

Perhaps they can inform you as to how, and what caused the crack in the first place?
My car is due to go in next week, provided they have the roof?

Yes, definitely will be asking for a root cause report. Don’t want it to happen after 120 miles of the replacement…

Mine is also getting fixed next week. Roof in, tools delivered. What could possibly go wrong.

Same problem here My car just arrived and now can’t be delivered ?. So frustrating.

Oh wow, that’s really delaminated ?. Hopefully yours comes quicker, think mine was one of the early ones to go so they probably hadn’t hit the “oh ?. We’d better order a job lot of replacement roofs” button…

My dealer says that he has no date for this to be fixed.

Oh wow, then that gives a long spread. Will definitely be pushing for confirmation they’ve identified the issue! Could be why I had to wait 9 weeks or so whilst they identified the root cause.

My roof has been pushed back a week, as no sign of replacement yet!
I believe my build date was Feb 22 ordered last July.

Well, still away on business but had a message saying that mine hasn’t been done as the bodyshop didn’t have the right specialist tools yet and there aren’t any at any UK sites….

At least the 22kW and instrument cluster campaigns have been done whilst away.

Mine has been done yesterday! But not got it back yet as they want to do some quality checks. They seem worried about the whole thing which makes me a bit nervous! They did have to source a special tool apparently. Hopefully get car back Monday after more than 6 weeks.
