Good evening,
Had a PCM message asking me to log in as a guest this morning with the car not recognising my user profile.
Car hadn't charged over night - it's programmed for a four hour overnight charge using an Octopus EV discounted tariff.
It also hadn't pre-conditioned and didn't adjust to my seat setting as it normally does when getting in.
Porsche have emailed me to say that this is due to 'planned maintenance'.
I've been told that they expect the maintenance to be complete by 11:00pm tonight.
Currently the car is on my drive with 13m of charge and my charger is stating charge delayed after a ten second countdown with a message 'awaiting EV'
Car PCM states 'charging not possible' and this is the same on the phone app.
I'm trying to contact Porsche Assist but have been on hold for over 25 minutes at the time of writing.
Has / is anyone else experiencing similar issues?

Have you tried to remove the car from your Octopus App so that you can just charge without a PCM connection? I wonder if it is because the Octopus App cannot connect to the car, so it might be causing the "charging not possible" issue. Not sure if this is the issue, but worth a try to get some charge into it.

Disable programming from the Octopus side so that it is effectively in 'dumb' mode, enable Direct Charge to bypass any PCM profile / timer.

Thanks both.
I didn't think to try this as the charger has an override to allow immediate charging outside of the programmed hours and with minimal charge I'd tried this without success.
Later in the evening I shutdown / disconnected everything and reconnected. By this time the profile issue had been resolved and my profile loaded to the car when I turned it on and I was able to charge in the normal way.
Everything is so reliant on software these days. Great when it works but frustrating when it fails.
