Has anyone else have this happen where the LTE signal just drops and you see the two opposing arrows of no coverage? I’m thinking a defective communications module as my Verizon phone has constant signal and Verizon is suppling the Taycan. I can stand still and the signal comes back again and once again data is connected connected.

Strange and frustrating intermittent coverage.

Maybe that‘s why my Apple Music keeps getting disconnected and I have to re-log in constantly. I’ve found the cellular in the Taycan to be hit or miss and I’m not sure if it’s Verizon’s lousy coverage or the fault of the Taycan. Too many moving pieces…

I have been without LTE (and Bluetooth and Wifi and CarPlay and SOS call and all network related things like telematics and internet radio and weather and news) and interestingly GPS (no smartlift, car position is way off) since mid September. Dialer diagnosed a failed communication module for the first set of problems and has a part on order. They suspect the GPS problem is related. The expected delivery time was 3-4 weeks and I'm nearing the end of that time period. It's like driving a car from the 80s with a broken cassette player...

I empathize with you.
I had the similar PCM/radio issues in August. It was a connect control unit. Two weeks to receive the part from Germany.
Discussed in this thread.

World internet radio was working prior to repair now not working. Will take back to the dealer in the next week or two. Sigh.

Bumping this thread in the hopes someone else is experiencing the intermittent LTE dropouts and has a fix. Taking car back in for annual in May and will insist they play the internet radio for at least 5 minutes to demonstrate the issue. Signal always comes back but will drop again later.
