it’s nice that we have a lift “button”. But I would also really like to be able to change the suspension height down to the lower settings without having to go through the main menu (and then multiple additional layers), and without having to change damper stiffness.

For example, I would love to be able to leave the car in “normal” drive mode, leave the damper stiffness on the sport settings and be able to lower the car to its lowest setting with one additional button.

I have read through the manual and it does not look possible.

Like the title says, it probably can’t be done. But am I missing something? Is it actually possible?

If your signature is correct, and you have a Turbo S variant, then yeah as @McgR said you've got the ability to set an Individual mode on your steering wheel mounted knob. IIRC all Turbo/TurboS vehicles come with SportChrono, with the dash mounted chronograph, and the steering mounted control knob. Base/lower variants lack this by default, and if you dont have chrono, you don't have Individual mode. (Eg: my current Taycan).

I do have an individual setting established already (sport plus but w suspension dampers in sport and no sport sound).

I was hoping for a one-button way to just adjust ride height no matter what setting I’m using on the sport chrono dial. I can switch to the main menu and go a few screens deep. But I don’t think that’s safe to do on the fly.

If you use the 3-tile Home Screen (pressing Home Screen button on PCM a second time), you can make one of the tiles drive mode, or ride height etc. That would give you much quicker access if that is something you change often. I don’t tend to fiddle with my drive mode or ride height etc enough to waste a third of my PCM screen. But may be a way to more quickly work for you?

Thank you WattTurbo. That's a great idea. Now I need to invest a little time figuring out how to set the tile button.

To my knowlege this button does exactly that; lower & stifen suspension to the sport plus setting while staying in your 'setting' drive
the blue one on the picture inbetween rise car and eps off

It was actually @arijaycomet’s idea. It’s a good idea, and I use it for my Bose settings but for the suspension height settings it would only save you one press because you’d still have to press the PCM button to bring up the 3 tiles screen. I the PCM would leave it on whichever screen I had used last but always change back to the main screen on startup. BTW, I don’t remember offhand on how to configure the 3 tiles as I did at over a year ago.

LOL @WattTurbo thanks for the credit -- as for the OP -- @Racer_Ex here is how this works.

Pressing the home button repeatedly will swap you between the main Home Screen (showing app icons) and the special home screens with the 3 tiles. To customize that screen you must be at a stop/standstill. Then, press the 3 dots in the bottom right corner. From there, you can scroll up/down on the right list and drag the items you want over to the left 3x tiles, placing them where you want.

I'm not in my car right now but IIRC there are a few that can be customized. So be careful after you drag the item to the left tile of your choosing, look for additional left/right arrows just below that tile, and make sure you are selecting the right one before you click the "confirm" button on the bottom. For example, I think there is one that is called "driving" or something similar, and once it is dragged left, you can select between air suspension, drive mode, etc. But once you lock it in, that is what you get.

PS: My 3x tiles are, from left-to-right, Navigation, Music/Media, and Weather. But the weather one sometimes gets swapped for battery (for quick./easy access to see % and "direct charge" button), but in the snow, I've thought about putting my ride height or drive mode there. My car lacks the steering knob/sport chrono-- so that might be a nice move for me. Cheers! :)

-- EDIT --
@Tdc ... so you are aware, the button that is blue in your photo does NOT change the ride height. In your photo you clearly show the 4x right side buttons; top one turns off traction control, second one changes the adaptive suspension, third one raises the height (and locations can be saved; max height, meant for going over road hazards, steep driveways, speed humps, etc), and the last one can be customized of course.

When you press the suspension button that you have highly, the electromagnetic ride system firms up the shocks (there should be off, sport, and sport plus modes, as indicated on the screen, blocked in your photo by the right stalk). However, the ride height and drive mode stay the same. This can get confusing but basically here is what you need to know:

If you change your ride height, or if you change your suspension settings, only those items change. However, if you change your drive mode, then some of those all ALSO change your suspension or ride height. For example, on a CrossTurismo, Gravel mode will change your height to High. Or in ANY Taycan, Sport mode will put your suspension into firmer/Sport. But if you press just the icon on the cluster, for suspension, your height remains wherever it current is/was prior; so if in Normal mode, then Regular height. Hope this clarifies --

So I don't have to go through several screens on the main PCM while driving. It is too distracting to have to make sure I make the correct selection to get to each additional screen. Eyes off the road too long. (Here is one of many scenarios... Let's say I turn off from the freeway onto a somewhat bumpy backroad but curvy backroad -- which is very common in my area. Unless I'm really hammering it, I will probably want to operate in regular mode for the sake of efficiency. I will may also want a lower ride height for the curves, but without the stiffer suspension setting so that the car can deal with the uneven road conditions better.)
