I think I have finally figured it out… It includes the energy used to top up the 12 volt battery as soon as you start the car. In very few minutes it normalizes. Also, when you restart after a short stop with little or no 12V consumption, this does not happen.

That and A/C working harder for initial cabin cool down - at least in hot climates. Pre-cooling will help reduce high initial energy use.
