Aloha Gentlemen and ladies. I am going to be a new Taycan owner by this thursday, 2/15. A little background...been a car guy forever. Started with a Cobra roadster, replica, then on to '65 Shelby GT 350 clone, then 2016 Shelby GT 350, 2015 Porsche 911 GTS in triple black., Camaro Zl1 1LE,, Porsche 911 997, 2020 C8 Z51 (T-boned), C8 Z51 , then to now a C8 Z06 murdered out!! During this time I had a 2nd car (Tesla Model 2 '14). ....then to a 2022 Model S Long Range all the while 2 car guy. Just sold the Tesla LR and bought a '22 Taycan 4S. So I will have it on Thurs and looking forward. Chalk/Blk, all options, 7k miles and treated like a baby!! So I will be here following all you knowledgeable sould for advice or ideas to make it more personalized. Thanks for reading my long rant!!!

Upcoming Taycan GTS owner here. Bought a very low mileage. 2022 car with a plethora of options (Premium, PDCC Sport, PCCB, rear-axle steering, electro-chromatic roof, ++). Leaving my 2013 Tesla Model S behind for good. Had a bit of a circuitous route to get here: Drove the new Model S and didn't like the faux leather interior, nor the busy Autopilot animations. Drove a Lucid Air Touring and totally loved it. Put down a refundable deposit only to find out that the discount I understood to apply to both purchase and/or lease only applied to lease. Turned a good deal into... meh, not to mention the fears that the company may not do well long term. That led me to a pre-owned Taycan. Never thought I'd get the joy of owning a Porsche. Now I do!

I've been a Porsche fan since I was a little kid, and I'm beyond thrilled there's a suitable replacement for the Model S....here's to hoping for an EV 911 in my lifetime
So far the Taycan is amazing... although there are a couple little quality-of-life things I miss from the Model S. But the driving and the style... and the build quality??!?? A massive upgrade.

Hi! I picked up my new pre-reg Taycan 4S ST in ice grey metallic this week. 13 miles on the clock and a nice big discount!

There’s just shy of £30K worth of spec on this car, and it is pretty much my dream spec. I’d been searching for a new in stock/demo car (for the tax incentives!) for months and as soon as I saw this one, I knew this was meant to be mine. The only things missing that I’d have specced are the electric charging covers and adaptive cruise. Also maybe the painted gloss black side mirrors.

The car is an absolute joy to drive and so much fun, truly feels like a spaceship on wheels! It’s stunning too, and I’ve stared out my window admiring it more times than I care to admit. It’s a monster of a car and the surround view isn’t as great as it was in my Macan, so I’m finding it a bit tricky to park at the moment while the dimensions are still new to me!

since there is no forum for those of us leaving the fold I'll do it here.

my lease is up on my '21 4s and the car is being dropped off tomorrow.
over all the Taycan experience has been very good after having a very bad beginning and dealing with the black hole of PCNA customer service who refused to acknowledge a serious software bug that hampered my L3 charging, once that problem was finally rectified the car was solid.
Porsche's inability to implement OTA updates in another issue that needs to be addressed.
overall I will miss the Taycan but the Lucid Air GT is a worthy replacement.

Just signed for a 2021 (2020-10 production) Turbo S.
Coming from a 992 but been looking at the Taycan for some time.

Trying to read up on all the bits and bobs and what I need the dealer / PC to double check before delivery, Getting approved warranty as well.
Radiator fans has been swapped out and I think it already has all the software updates, guess all that will be check during the approved inspection.
