Mission wheels internal white ?

Good morning,
I'm going to replace my P100D (nobody's perfect...) with a Taycan.

Has anyone ever painted the inner part (barrel) of the Mission rims white ?

PS : I know it is not available from Porsche.

AFAIK painted insides of mission E tires is an option in the configurator. Standard color is silver which may look white in pictures.

My question concerns the inner part of the rim.
In the configurator, you can only choose the color of the outer part.

I haven't yet decide the exact model... My P100D is of course much more powerful than the 4S under 70mph.
But the 4S does 100-200 km/h (62 to 124 mph) in 9 seconds.
I have to be in Ludicrous + mode to beat that time, but I never use it again, given the preheating required ...

Ah, not sure about the very inner part. The configurator has a picture of blue outer accents and that has black insides.

I haven’t seen inner barrels painted on a Taycan. Even with the brake upgrades, this would be very challenging to maintain on a daily driver…

I imagine ! But maybe with a ceramic treatment and a light cleaning every weekend...

I wonder if the result would not be nicer on the basis of Mission rims.

I have Vesuvius grey painted factory wheels with ceramic coatings on the barrels and I would not do white painted barrels for a daily driver. Brake dust Is minimal but there is everything else to contend with. Every spec will be noticeable, access is limited and if you are too aggressive with cleaning or chemicals, scratches will be easy to see. For a show car or a garage queen it could work but not for something that is driven daily which also sees the outside elements.

However, by all means if you have the time and patience for the maintenance, the juice could be worth the squeeze for you.

The inner rim on the Mission E wheels are painted black as standard. There is no option from Porsche to change the colour of the inner rim.

I end up with a GTS with Spyder wheels, so no longer necessary !
