There is no shortage of charging stations in that part of Italy, if charging is your concern. However it is necessary to do some research about subscription to different service. The screen shot I have enclosed shows the stations with >150 kW. And there are more that are not visible at this zoom level. And if you zoom in and add 50 kW stations, there is a huge choice.Makes sense to have a test drive, this year we plan to take 2 trips, Essex/Stuttgart/Porec/Padova (in laws)/Parma (more in laws) Genoa (even more in laws)/Varigotti and then somewhere in the Langedoc and back to Varigotti. A decision can wait a while, they'll still be making them.
Tesla has one advantage in charging. It is so simple, lots of stations and you just plug in and it works. So a bit more effort required but it is so easy nowadays
