My 2020 4S has a consistent 'brake squeal' noise from the front nearside area between 12mph and 22mph. Dealer explained this was 'normal ' and comes from the front motor. Seems unlikely - anyone experience this ?

I cannot understand why any kind of squeal noise from the motor (as claimed by your dealer) would/could be considered normal…Sounds more like they cannot be bothered to look into it…If its brake disc/pad related of course that’s a different matter entirely.

Yes - sounds remarkably like my noise and I also can really only hear it with window down. Occurs all the time between 12/22mph and no braking - so sounds plausible it is tied in with front motor as Dealer Technician advised. However, surely it is unacceptable on a £100K Porsche and why can't it be fixed .

There is another thread about it, you should check it out. Mine 4S has the same noise , dealer told me all of the cars have the same noise coming from rotor and it’s totally normal.. They’ve asked Germany many times.. I wish there wasn’t an annoying sound for a luxury and silent car like this! Try to forget about it
