settings -> system -> units -> electric consumptionHow did you get your consumption in miles per kw and not the usual display in KwH per 100 miles of the car's energy consumption
Good question, I was trying to figure this out myself and it happened purely by accident when I set up my account in the car. I was signed in as guest for a few days while my car was being added the the My Porsche account, and when I signed in a lot of settings changed, including this one.How did you get your consumption in miles per kw and not the usual display in KwH per 100 miles of the car's energy consumption
I almost never charge to 100% but the last time I did I seem to remember 234 miles, but I can't be sure.I'd be keen to know what kind of range data you see when charged to 100%.
It's more just curiosity really as a new owner, and with the car having a bit higher mileage, I was keen to see how it compared with others.I almost never charge to 100% but the last time I did I seem to remember 234 miles, but I can't be sure.
I rarely have cause to give range any consideration.
Sorry you got the recall letter. But 5 days required to fix is actually good news. In US, VINs in this recall are turned in to dealer, HV batteries are removed, shipped to contract repair facility in the middle of the country, repaired, shipped back to dealer, and reinstalled in the car. If you can have HV battery repaired in 5 days, you are lucky.I've had the car all of 10 days and have come home to the ARB5 recall letter. Approx. 5 days required in the workshop...

The US recall notice for ARB5 indicates that those recalled VINs have had battery analytics data collected OTA, and that 100% of the ARB5 VINs are affected, potentially needing HV battery module replacement.Ouch. However looking at the letter it appears that it’s up to 5 days just to carry out the testing and to interpret the results with Porsche Engineers. Assume at that point if they don’t like what they see then it may go through the same process as you have described.
Thanks. It’s not booked in until 6th Jan due to courtesy car availability, but looks like it could end up being away for some time. The US recall notice for ARB5 indicates that those recalled VINs have had battery analytics data collected OTA, and that 100% of the ARB5 VINs are affected, potentially needing HV battery module replacement.
The first of the several "HV battery may short-circuit" recalls was announced in December, 2023.Thanks. It’s not booked in until 6th Jan due to courtesy car availability, but looks like it could end up being away for some time.
Is there a bright side to this, other than the obvious safety one. i.e is it possible that the battery could come back in better condition?
Thanks. Haven’t had any notification yet regarding brake hoses, so assume this is yet to come.My old car! Glad you like the condition, I looked after itRange is similar to what I achieved, mostly fast motorway. Vast majority of my charging was 22kW, have them across our factories. All recalls (and common failures) were done while I owned the car apart from the recent brake hoses and ARB5 battery.
Enjoy the car, Taycan is great!
