Hello guys, my name is Roberto and I live in Athens Greece.

I just bought a new Taycan Turbo 2025. I have the car for about a week now, and I’m falling in love with it.

Here’s the configuration link: https://porsche-code.com/PSZQZ7Q2

It’s one of the best I’ve driven, and I come from a supercar background having also a Ferrari 488 and a Lambo Gallardo.

This Taycan seems like it can do it all.

Anyways, I’d like to ask the much more experienced here if you have any specific charger to recommend or I should go with the Porsche one? If I go the Porsche one, which model would you recommend? The one with the digital screen, the simple one or even the one that looks like a pedestal?

Also, after some research I’ve done, I decided to order the full body kit from Zacoe - https://www.zacoe.com/product-list/Porsche/Taycan.html

I really love this kit, but does anyone know about this company? Any reputation? So far the communication with them is excellent, but the kit costs around $15k delivered to my country so I thought I should ask for your opinion.

Thanks a lot :)

Aghhhhh looks great in blue.

I ca from a 488 Spyder and previously had an LP560 Gallardo.

I picked up a My25 4S Cross Turismo in December.

I couldn’t open your body kit link.

Link opened fine for me here in Ireland. As someone who only ever buys blue cars, í've always liked that Frozen Blue.

The revelation for me in this picture is how well the external "Porsche" sticker works with that car. Very few cars have the carbon B pillar option ticked. Would be great to get a close up pic of it in daylight.

As a previous generation J1 Turbo S owner – I too think that the regular Turbo with carbon ceramics is the way to go. The base price of the Turbo S is insanely high compared to the Turbo. I can option a Turbo up to a Turbo S spec with everything I was for the base Turbo S price here in Ireland.

As a firm member of the "metal roof club" – pity you optioned in the glass roof! But hey, that's just me. Only 5% of the Taycan's delivered to Ireland has a non-glass roof.

Congratulations - great looking car. For the charger there are many posts on here regarding chargers (use the search function and search title only "Charger") - @daveo4EV is probably the most versed in this question. For me I have the Porsche wall charger connect (PWCC) and it works great - if you do not want the expense or bulk of that - I also use the Tesla Universal Connector - which also works great and takes up 20% of the real estate.

As for the Kit ... I would suggest get the car and live with it for a while before you even think of any add on Kits - it is a beautiful machine as it is ....

thanks for the shout out - but OP is Greece - EV charging is different vs. USA/North America - my advice is "less useful" (useless?) for an EU customer - different products, different short falls, different solutions vs. North America (example: Tesla Universal Charger is "not a thing" in Greece - by regulation mandate all EVSE's are "universal")…

enjoy the new car!! I loved my taycan, but also love my Macan EV…

If you want to go "fancy" and keep with Porsche they have a new charger out; with wifi, ethernet and 4G connectivity options.

https://shop.porsche.com/ie/en-IE/p...8210?queryID=f0dc5825ac30c7849c441dcb6d113130

It's not necessary but it would provide a nicely integrated solution within your MyPorsche app. The 4G connectivity is of some potential appeal to me in my underground garage that has no wifi or ethernet possibilities.

Thanks buddy. I was thinking the same. The wall charger seems like a nice solution. Only thing is I cannot take it with me. But I guess charging at another house isn’t a viable option either right if there’s not a 11 kw plug installed already.

I have a few friends suggesting to me the Tesla wall charger as well. Anyone has any experience with it?

Thanks mate.

I like the glacier blue as well. As for the glass roof I get your point. Tbh I thought that the transparent mode would be crystal clear as in glass. But it’s really not. It’s like less opaque than the completely frost mode.
Not sure if I’d ordered it again like that. But anyhow it’s fancy and the electrochromic effect is fun to play with ?

Will get some more pics with the carbon parts as soon as I get back to Athens cos I’m staying in Dubai for January ?
