Newbie question on delivery

Hi everyone, this is my first post, having ordered an ST 4S in August 2022 from Reading, UK. There are threads where members can announce the actual delivery of their car; wouldn't it be useful if they stated in that post the original order date and when other milestones were met so the rest of us can gauge when their own order is likely to turn into metal?
On placing my order early August 22 I was quoted Q1/Q2 23 for delivery and have since had the 'driving experience' offer and a 'you are at step-2-of-5' email at the end of Nov 22 but have no idea what that means in reality. Humour me if this is a repeat, but can someone point me at threads that explain the actual order process and where I'm likely to be at present?

No TYD unfortunately here in the UK. We have either the My Porsche app on your phone or the equivalent web portal that shows five successive stages during the order fulfilment:

1. Thank you for ordering
2. Your Driving Experience at the Porsche Experience Centre Silverstone
3. Your vehicle is now scheduled for Production
4. Your Vehicle has been Produced
5. Final Steps Before Delivery

If my experience is anything to go by, the dates here in My Porsche typically lag ‘reality’ by around a week to ten days.

For the OP the most granular forward view is to request a screenshot of the Tracking tab (build schedule) from the Porsche Sales & Vehicle Management System from the SA at their dealer…looks like this:

Yeh I put my deposit down on 12 November ‘21. I was notified by my SA on 31 May ‘22 that I had my allocation confirmed and My Porsche then updated to stage 1 (thank you for ordering) on 13 June - so yes, with a lag.
