can't see other posts about this - got this goofy error message just now. am guessing the parking break is not functioning. car works just fine so am assuming the issue is that the parking brake is not going on.

anyone had the same?

started yesterday still showing today. was exceptionally wet yesterday and today is likely the same - dry on the weekend so will see if it clears when everything dries out (having owned a couple of Alfa Romeos - this was standard practice :CWL: )

Not functioning?

Try parking on a hill and see if you roll...if so it's a major issue. Hopefully, its a false positive as there is no other way to deploy the parking brake.

I think you can go into vehicle settings and set the parking brake on/off manually.

Suggest testing that it actually works. I've never seen anyone reporting on whether pressing the P switch on the dash when the car is moving down the street actually stops the car (and how fast).

waddya know - looks like Porsche electrics went to the same finishing school as alfa electrics. fault cleared itself after a few dry days. will get it looked at next time car is in though.

i have pressed the p button while still rolling slowly, around 5-10kmh, and i can confirm it applies the brake very quickly and aggressively. The car does not like when you do this
