Panhard 24 bt lookalike?

There's little new in the automotive world and the similarity to the Panhard 24 is striking in the front end design and why not it was a very pretty car built from '64 to '67 only. This one was snapped in Angouleme in September. We really need more great small cars with sporting nature.

Crash test regulations have pretty well ruled out small or light cars at anything like a realistic price since mild steel is the best inexpensive energy absorber and the bigger the deflection the more energy is absorbed making the periphery of cars bigger and heavier than it used to be.
If you want a small light car they are still being made but in composite in small numbers at high prices. McLarens are probably best but less fashionable than some others.
