PCM display - changing colour??

I’ve noticed that my PCM screen every so often adopts a different colour hue to it. Sometimes it’s purple / pink, other times blue, and also a yellow.

It affects the whole screen, no matter what is on it, and lasts for a few seconds at most before going back to normal.

I can’t seem to replicate it or isolate the cause, so wondered if anybody else has experienced it?

Nope. Hopefully you can catch a photo of it to show your service advisor... and have it replaced.

I imagine it could be a bad video controller board, bad cable, or bad screen. But I'm just guessing.

I had my center screen take on a purple hue today as I sat under a bridge at a traffic light. As I sat, the car shifted to night mode, and thats when the center display went purple. I could still see all the icons, and it was only that display, not the cluster or large panel. Any ideas?

Hello. Are you guys talking about this situation? Happened to me recently. If so, this seems like a technical/hardware problem indeed
