PCM goes haywire every now and then

So this morning I checked the MYporsche app to see the current state of the battery charge, and was surprised to see, once again, that the car was in privacy mode and could not give me that info. Puzzled, I went to the garage, got in the car and no start. Instead I got a screen that asked for my security code, which I entered, and then looked at the setting for privacy mode, which was Inactive. Then I went to my account and saw that it was STILL set at auto login with no code required?
WTF?

Did this month or two back and it took me several weeks to get someone at Porsche NA to guide me through restoring my account. Getting tired of farting with it.
