Is your infotainment system super buggy? I constantly have bugs. For example, most recently, the album cover is stuck from a previous song forever, and stays like that until I restart the car (keeps happening all the time). My mirror stopped tilting when on reverse (even though it is selected). Sometimes the song won't load at all, and sometimes PCM won't load.

Is this common and is there a solution?

The PCM will go out to lunch at times. A reboot fixes it. You mirror issue not tilting is the passenger door module. and not the PCM. Lock the car and let it sit, that will tend to fix things as the car will reset. Otherwise battery disconnect is a good way to reset everything.

Thank you!

>Have you tried the two fingers reset?

I should try that.

>Or you can try disconnecting the 12v battery
Why would this help?

Never heard of this. Where can I find the instructions and are there any gotchas?

Here’s a thread on how to disconnect the 12V battery.
https://www.taycanforum.com/forum/threads/how-to-disconnect-12v-battery.11322/

Pulling the 12volt power, just resets all the modules in the car. When our Taycan was new I had to pull the power to do a reset since things were acting weird and out to lunch. The reset fixed things but ultimately there was an issue in Porsches servers for the provisioning of the car that they had to fix. We still have issues with the PCM due to the bugs where it checks out every few months. The two finger reboot fixes things.
