I heard of people parking there and going home/collecting 12 hours later. Not surprising Tesco have noticed. Still cheap for 7kW - costs me more at home

Don’t think they can do that in most Tesco car parks that i know as there is an ANPR for 2 hour limit… seen stories about people who have been fined for over staying by 10 mins just shopping in there and not even charging.

There is one near me where I have heard it is a regular thing. Must vary a bit

That’s shocking that the store allows that especially with EV chargers having an idle charge.

I’m guessing Sainsburys might follow although nowhere near as much exposure.

I would have done an incentive where any charge is waived with a £50 shop It costs them peanuts and probably more in lighting the car park.
