Can anybody tell me about Porsche insurance? I have heard that they charge you based on number of miles or days you drive your car. Is it reasonable in its benefits?

I’m very interested to find out more on this topic. I am concerned about certain repairs which can only be done by Porsche dealers causing traditional insurance companies to raise rates or not offer insurance at all on certain models like the Taycan Turbo. I was told by The Hartford that they would not insure my 2021 Taycan RWD if it was a Turbo.

They are great, have had them for a couple of years now. Charge you a small base fee plus per mile driven on 2 x 6 month terms. I have 3 cars on my policy.

We don’t drive our vehicles much since I have 3 vehicles & spend 50-70% of my year in airports.
My Taycan gets the least use. We drive it no more than 150 miles per week. Do you think I would be a good candidate for Porsche insurance?

100%, I pay under $1000 a year for 3 cars, full coverage. Problem you are going to have is that they do not support California. So if you have a residence in another state....
