Price reduction in P4R (remote parkassist)

My car is on a boat.

I noticed in the configurator that since I ordered it, the package P4R (remote parkassist incl. lane change assist) has gone down from USD$2,550 when I ordered it at the beginning of May, to $1,610 on the configurator today.

Did anyone else notice this change? Any reason for it? It seems to be the only pricing change.

And, will my dealer charge me the original price at the time I ordered, or the price at the time of delivery or payment? I assume this could be a negotiation item.

They are happy to increase the price after ordering, therefore the reverse should equally apply.

Amazingly, they gave me the price reduction! Porsche charges the dealer when it is delivered to the dealer, and that’s when the price was set.

Still unclear why the price dropped. I also noticed the tech package dropped even more.
