Privacy glass and thermal insulation

My used CT TAYCAN comes with privacy glasses for the rear passengers.Are they thermal insulates or like my other cars i have to install window films all around the car?

There is Privacy and there is Thermal glass that you can clearly identify as it is double pane with a film in between if you look at your door glass from the top. Regardless of Privacy or Thermal, I always tint all the way around with tint film that has Thermal properties.

Thermal Glass option in the US. I am not seeing a Privacy option in the US for Sedan or CT/ST.
Privacy is standard on Porsche SUVs in the US like Cayenne and Macan.

In our country the configurator has 3 options:
- privacy glass
- thermally & noise insulated glass
- privacy, thermally & noise insulated glass ( so the combo of both)

They all have thermal glass.

If you want noise insulated glass in the UK it’s around £1300 extra.

I went to see a 24 plate Turbo, had absolutely everything on but bizarrely didn’t have the noise insulating glass. For me that was a deal breaker.

I opted for a facelift 4S CT in the end.
