private number plate advice please

Halfords can be a bit difficult with docs, I recently tried to get a replacement plate and they refused because the reg wasn’t mine (my wife’s, same address as my ID) I ended up going to a proper motor spares shop.

You almost can’t win - there will be hassle at one end of ownership or the other. The online number plate people are very good though. Much easier to deal with than Halfords
