Protecting touch screens on the Taycan?

I am intersted in coating the screens with this product that both coats and protects the screen. I know it works on Glass but if our screens are of some synthetic then maybe not. Answers?

Why do it?

Unliky.to scratch unless careless.

Consider the protective film supplied by Porsche and others.

Why? I would rather have a product that is liquid that fills in little pores and seals when it drys vs a protective screen. that is my choice of products. My other question.........is ...are these screens made of glass or a compsite?

No idea - that's why a film might be safer. My guess though would be glass.

I had Xpel done to mine and the finger smudges are noticeably less than the stock screen.

The material doesn't feel like glass.. I'd suggest stay away from glass coating(been detailing for many years)
If you don't like those precut screen protection film that leave your edges open, you can order a big piece, measure and cut them.

I just use two screen protectors found on Amazon and eBay (Brot...), for the PCM and console screens. They help a lot to avoid fingerprints.
