Hello all,

I recently replaced the PTC heater myself, as the car is out of warranty and there are no active recalls.
There are currently no fault codes showing, but the heater is reporting a power limitation due to hardware.
Does anyone know what this means? It seems to be restricting the PTC heater from producing heat.

It will be worth checking if the heater requires component protection to be removed for the heater to work?

Yep; the heater needs component protection; programming and coding before the car can be driven - depending on the VIN the heater may even be on a Campaign for free replacement?

I think the heater is covered under warranty for 6 years
put the old one back and let the dealer sort it out?
