You may want to reconsider that regeneration setting, depending on what you are after. A Taycan regenerates as much as it can in any setting (except when new, for the first few miles each day, or at very low speed). Avoiding any retardation is more efficient than mixing regen and acceleration, because there is some energy loss (20-30%) in the regen cycle. Thanks, everyone. The car now displays 205 miles at 85% battery. I've adjusted my driving style slightly, opting to use regenerative braking on auto mode most of the time.
Auto recuperation is a bit pointless on hills or motorways - you need to be close to the vehicle in front to derive any braking and motorways are typically at a constant speed. Manual would be much better - particularly on a downhill if you didn't want to coast and would logically gain more miles travelled than added by putting energy put back into the battery via recuperation. Stop start - again marginal as you aren't travelling fast enough to require enough deceleration to add much energy back into the battery.I was a bit confused about regen, but from what I gather, it's okay to keep it on auto mode for situations like going down hills or in stop-start traffic. Perhaps it's just not recommended for motorway driving.
