Racing bike carrier

Hi I have recently purchased my Taycan Gts and got the roof transport system and racing bike carrier thrown in. Went to install this today and it doesn’t seem to be compatible with a racing bike with through axles. Is this a typical Porsche thing and did I miss an option to purchase an extra item to make it compatible?

Would love to know if there was progress in getting the wiring harness working. I’m in the market for a Taycan CT and luckily here in Canada they all have NG1, but I do keep getting tempted with the odd Sport Turismo that pops up, but none of them have NG1, and I need a car that can carry my eBike.

Thanks I did read the whole thread. You said In an update

There is a high possibility harness retrofit is not possible on the Sport Turismo without NG1.

I was just wondering if that was still true as here in Ontario, Canada you not only need lights but a light on the number plate.
