Radiator Fans - When should they come on?

I used to hear a loud humming noise from the front when the car was charging on a hot day. Not sure if the fans were replaced with the redesigned units when I took my car in for the brake hose fix, but now I don't hear anything, ever. It was 95 degrees plus here yesterday, so even hotter in the garage. Does anyone know when the fans are supposed to come on, or if there is any mode (AC on?) during which they should be functioning? Thanks!

A/C has nothing to do with the fans up front.
If you have Sport-Chrono with Sport-Plus mode: that's the best way to trigger the fans.

Doing DC-charging on a warm day, they never not engaged on my Taycan in Sport-Plus.

I don’t have sport chrome but I do have sport plus. Currently I charge on AC while my DC is being rewired (renovation)

I heard somewhere that the fan comes on when the battery reaches a trigger temperature, maybe 30 35 degrees C. Don't know if that is correct but last time I heard the fans it was after some intensive DC charging and/or sporty driving on a very hot day.

At 35 degress celsius + of the battery; in sport+ mode, they will turn on 100% of the time.

They are used for reducing battery temperature exclusively.

They will also turn on in the same scenario, of 35 degrees + of the battery during high speed charging.
