Rear door damage

Hi!
Yesterday a lady decided to open her car’s door in the exact moment I started moving. Her door grabbed my handle and this is the result…
Other than handle, do you think door has to be replaced?

That can be repaired with filler and paint by any good bodyshop

Hope so… I know that bent aluminum is a pain, so hopefully it will not be noriceable

I hit a concrete column with my fender on my last car. The PPF saved the paint but the fender was damaged. The fender was aluminum and dented worse than this. It was during Covid and the dealer quoted one year for the replacement fender to come in. I went to a dent repair place and they repaired it to look like new. It wasn’t cheap but the work was amazing.

This crease needs to be fixed from the inside of the door. Lots of labor involved in doing this right.

I know… near me I have a SUPER body shop, they told me it would not be a problem…

Little update...
the guy at the body shop told me that since it is aluminium is better to completely change the door frame.
Insurance is ok with that, so hopefully it will not take that long to have the pieces.

In the meantime hear this... Porsche scheduled the swap of the right side handles because since 2 months the car automatically reopens upon licking on that side...
After the accident the handles restarted operating normally.

How the hell is this possible?

I also had this problem. Finally all 4 sensors were changed.
