I just got a Taycan and I am new to this Forum and still trying to figure it out.
Does anyone know if I can set up the recouperation modus on a permanent basis or maybe within the profile instead of turning it on all the time?

recuperation is _ALWAYS_ on and can not be disabled - when you touch the brake pedal the computers figure out what blend of friction and regeneration are required to stop the vehicle - it's always that way - you can't change it - and the exact mix varies based on circumstances.

the recuperation you can control only has a mild effect as to how much regen is deployed when lifting off the accelerator pedal - there are 3 modes if I recall
  1. none
  2. some
  3. auto
and are controled by a button on the steering wheel

auto is the most useful in my opinion as it will use regeneration to slow the vehicle when approaching a slower vehicle infront of you - but should not be relied upon to actually stop the vehicle.

mostly this is something you don't need to worry about - as regen/recuperation is deeply entrenched in the Taycan and is part of every braking event during normal driving - just drive the car and be happy. Porsche has you covered and will maximize regeneration every time you touch the brake pedal and appropriate to the circumstance.

enjoy the new car!!! You're going to love it.

Tl;dr

Set up individual mode with auto recuperation (or permanent recup) on and whatever else you want (chassis height, damper stiffness, etc). Once you start the car, just turn the knob right until its in individual mode and done.

Brake regen is always on but I assume you're taking about the button recup.

I have a weak spot for blondes so: tap the car symbol, then tap the bottom right 3 dots, tap the personalize individual mode and set everything up there. I would recommend you base the individual mode on normal so it retains the auto lowering function at higher speeds. The rest you can change how you please. There are two settings you might want. One is the auto recup (on, off, auto) and the other is sports sound (if you want). I have it on when driving in the city. Albeit quite low, it a) makes pedestrians aware you're approaching (most of the time) and b) gives you audible feedback of acceleration and braking which is important to not violate speed limits that often without realising.
