Thanks for your feedback.Hi, I just got a Taycan (first post) as well and experienced something similar. I already had a Tesla wall charger because I was initially planning to get a Tesla. When I first plugged it in, I also got a red light. The issue turned out to be the Tesla charger’s scheduled charging setting. I had to manually override it, and then the Taycan started charging.
Now, every time I plug it in, the red light stays on until midnight, when the Tesla charger’s schedule activates power.
It’s possible that your wall charger also has a setting or schedule enabled that’s causing the issue. Hope that helps.
In my case it was the electricity suppliers app that was blocking the charging process. We had to remove the app, reinstall it and then set up the process again.
The wall charger was working fine, but being over-ridden by the electricity suppliers operation.
