I haven’t encountered snow/ice driving conditions yet, but know it’s just a matter of time. Would love to hear feedback from any RWD owners that have encountered winter conditions. I have all season tires and considered winter tires, but I‘ll likely only hit winter conditions a couple of times a year so not sure it’s worth it?

From what I’ve read, (depending where you are in the states) if you encounter snow, you’re going to need winters. It’s apparently brilliant in the snow on the correct rubber.

For what its worth, I just put 20 inch Scorpions on my RWD in anticipation of my first winter with the car. Don't yet know how they will do in the snow, but the ride quality is fantastic. They are also supremely quiet (for now at least as I have put less than 1000 miles on them). Given the weight of the car I am hopeful that with winter tires I can keep the car as my daily driver throughout the year. (I used to like driving our MB SUV from time to time, but now I can't stand driving anything other than the Taycan -- it's my first Porsche and I am officially addicted!) We have a light snow in our forecast next week, so hopefully I can put the Scorpions through their paces and report back with positive results.

I have same question as well…. Picked up RWD 2 weeks back.. it has 21” all season tires. Haven’t had snow yet in chicago, so interested to know what will be driving like if ever drove in snowy conditions. I typically don’t drive in heavy snow condition… but there might be scenarios of running into snow when already on road.

Do not know about RWD.
My 4S MY20, 20’ tires last winter drove a few light snow days with the delivery installed Continental all season tires and it was slippery. Installed Pirelli SotoZero Elect and the 4S powers through the snow in Utah and Colorado with confidence. Tested in snow up to as much as 35-38cm (14-15in) fresh powder and packed snow and climb gradients up 14% no problem.
Recommend snow tires if daily driver in cold climates and snow.
