I'm glad to see most Ciceroans are people who either waited months for a battery or lost the ultimate game of battleship.

BUT then again the reason why I got bumped so far in production was due to these issues so it's not like I wasn't affected. I've probably been waiting just as long as most of you since my first deposit - Nov 2021.

Anyway... this thread isn't for a pity party. God speed to you all!!

Pretty much! Maybe justifies a bit why I'm such a massive whiny baby in all these threads? I'm one of the longest waiting people according to whan's list, but can't top the undisputed waiting king, @f1eng.

I'm in the same boat as you (pun intended). I placed my first deposit in November 2021, but incredibly excited to be on the Siem Cicero, it's finally almost here!

Crazy/funny story today.

My dealership called me today and said to me guess what your car is here and ready to be picked up! I’m thinking immediately maybe TYD is wrong and behind schedule?!?!

I said are you sure because TYD says my car is on the boat coming over. He said let me go check again.

Turns out another customer with the same last name and ordered same color car! Sorry!

He had my hopes up really high for about 5 minutes! What a fake out! ??

My dealer called to confirm my car made the Cicero! My entry port is Houston though.

Maybe they realized they forgot to load @jld1 and @electric9925's and some other people's taycans so trucks were deployed to Belgium for the last minute loading of cars left behind on Cicero?

That's probably unlikely and I really don't know how these logistics work, but you never know. I mean why else would they make a stop in Belgium after just having left nearby Emden?!? It's not to drop off cars because wouldn't it make more sense to transport customer cars via roadway to Belgium straight from Zuffenhausen and wouldn't be loaded on a ship to begin with? Or maybe someone did forget their meds, or there's a ship malfunction. Sorry, my excitement for this journey makes me speculate more than I should.

Sorry, looks like it wasn't headed for a Belgium port after all. Cicero is now anchored in the middle of an inlet between Belgium and the Netherlands. Perhaps just holding on shallow waters to allow some weather and rough seas ahead to pass.
