Hey guys quick question. Very small/slight curb rash damage about the size of a quarter on my Mission E. Not deep at all. Have the wheel and tire insurance through 3rd party purchased through the dealer.
Dealer is telling me claim has to be made though the dealer through bringing it to dealer, waiting for 3rd party wheel refinisher they use to repair it.
The paperwork seems to suggest a claim/reimbursement can be made simply through the 3rd party insurance by calling and initiating a claim. The dealer is a bit of a ways and is a pain to drop the car off and leave for a day for such a small repair.
Has anyone done it in fact by simply calling? And also, without seeing the damage, what is typical cost for slight refinishing of an alloy that is barely scuffed or scratched.
TIA.
