someone received the 12v battery?

So like other folks here I just had the good news confirmed and my 12V battery will arrive on Monday and I am scheduled to pick up the car next Friday. Can not wait ?. A couple of interesting things. The are receiving batteries for all of their "battery less" Taycans at the same time, ranging from ones made in late June to ones made at the end of Sep .. . They received a newly made Taycan last week with a battery so it looks like all newly produced Taycans are getting their batteries when made. Wish that all remaining folks get their batteries soon too ...!!!

I'm not fretting, I am fed up.
I have never had such shite service before and I have had 72 years without this level of irritation so not very tolerant now.
It is almost not worth bothering with any more for me.

Can fully imagine, hope they help you out soon. I know you've been waiting for a while and made some build sacrifices as well.

I read that Porsche produce c. 20,000 units annually. By my reckoning they weren't fitting batteries for at least 12 weeks - I think the real number could be much (much) higher

One member quoted an actual number of Taycans in one reply, but I can’t remember who, it was well above 800 but less than 900. Around ¾ of Porsches used to be Cayenne and Macan though I read Taycan is a bigger seller than 911 now but it is probably the only Porsche with a non-lead acid smart battery.

My dealer told me this week they have 29 cars built customer cars sitting in Germany waiting on batteries. So yes, 800 seems like a low number.

We will probably never know the true number.

Porsche definitely wouldn't want to upset the market and their new shareholders with (more) bad news like this.

According to documentary how Taycan is built, they are producing around 200 Taycans per day.
I would say 200 working days x 200 Taycans = 40k per year - seems right.

Hard to say what is the real number cars affected, especially that I and all other guys from my dealer have cars still in a factory. From the other side, don't know how much parking space factory has, but definitely limited space.

Remember they were running at a lot lower volume due to supply chain issues over the summer. And August it had the annual shutdown. 800-900 doesn’t sound outside the realms of possibility.
