someone received the 12v battery?

Hi Guys. My GTS ST was ordered in March and completed production end of August. It has been standing waiting for the battery but I have been notified that Porsche centre Zug is getting 3 batteries next week and one will go into my car. I can then pick it up on the 9th of November.

Awesome! Looks just like mine! I have the same wheels also Cross Turismo, 4S, Black. What an awesome car!!! Hope to get mine soon. Dealer said they have ordered the battery but they have no estimated delivery yet. I hope it’s not too long and I get it in November…

My SA called saying that one of several arriving this week @ Spain for the Iberic market (Portugal & Spain) is for my car.

To be honest, I believe it when I see it.

Please let us know. I find it so weird that dealers know when the batteries are arriving in other countries. In Romania the dealer just knows that the battery is coming and that it was ordered, but has no ETA. Something clearly changed because it was not possible to order it before. I hope it comes next week.

My battery arrived on Tue, it’s been installed and the car is waiting for registration. I am picking it up on Monday since we have holidays tomorrow. Sharing a picture below. They already changed the wheels so this is the winter version ?

Portugal and Spain share the same market (porsche Iberia). That's why he knew about spain.

Despite he did knew of an exact number of batteries were arriving in a specific date, he didn't knew to witch car were to be fitted on and if my car was contemplated.


To be honest after this nightmare, it's clear that the amount of information the dealers receive from Porsche HQ is extremely low. They are also in the dark.

I'm finally sending this email.

It's confirmed! The battery is installed and my car is now being prepared for delivery.


Here are the milestones:

1. Signed purchase: 25 november 2021
2. Allocation: 11 march
3. Production: 14 july
4. Arrived @ dealer (without the battery) 29 july
5. battery installation 27 October

Thank you all for the emotional support. ?

To all the others still without news, do not desespere. All the bad feelings I had created due to the waiting process (so much that I started to doubt my decision about the car and even about Porsche) are gone.

Congrats - I really wish those winter wheels were available as a factory option. IMO the best looking OEM 20” and they’re only available for like $6k via tequipment
