Spacers - new bolts needed?

The Porsche wheel bolts are M14X1.5X49.

Those who have added spacers - or have taken their wheels off recently - do you know how much "extra" length there is in the bolt?
As in, with e.g. 10-12mm spacers would all the threads still engage or would new bolts be needed?

You're gonna need new bolts to accommodate the extra length.

You'll need 40mm long bolts for for 10/12mm spacers.
You'll need 45mm long bolts for 15mm spacers.
These lengths refer to the thread length. Standard thread length is about 28mm.

For Taycan, I believe standard shank length is 34mm. So for 10-12mm spacer, get 44-46mm shank length. Make sure at least 10 full turns of the bolt for safety. Also make sure bolts are ball seat for OEM wheels. I've tried 3mm, 5mm, 7mm, 12mm, 20mm spacers with different rims and offsets. I wouldn't use stock bolts for anything more than 3mm spacer.

I measured my thread length at 28/29mm. But yes I'm sure you are correct re the shank length as the thread starts approximately 5 mm down.

H&R makes bolts that measure the same way as the Porsche ones in the catalogue. Those are the only ones I found that are like OEM with the moving collar.

I got the 60mm, so 2x B1456006SET, they also contain two anti-theft bolts and two keys. I ordered mine from Autodoc, and they matched the anti theft bolt styles between the two sets.
The standard ones are 49mm, so these are 11mm longer and my spacers are 12mm.

I see no real reason to buy anything else, these were just perfect and look 100% OEM.
